When a child is given Divine Life at baptism its Guardian Angel is filled with joy

At the baptism, I saw the pure, fervent, fiery joy of the child's guardian angel, who rejoiced at the sight of Divine Life within the child's soul.

Christ poured out His life-blood for us, on Calvary. It is the blood of the living, Risen Saviour that refreshs us, and increases the Divine life in us, in Holy Communion. Truly, we should revere in our hearts, all day long, the One Whose generosity towards us is infinitely great.

Even when we are distracted or ill-at-ease, God invites us to step into the depths of His life, by prayer.

Just as a hand dipped into warm water scarcely feels the change, a soul full of divine life receives Christ in peaceful, perpetual glory.

If we hope to be saved, the importance of Baptism cannot be exaggerated. It is the means chosen by God by which a person's state becomes glorious. Sin is banished, and Divine Life is given, life which enables that person to live in union with God, and in the hope of attaining Heaven, by the grace of Christ.

Each person who genuinely experiences God in contemplation and is able to describe such things is like someone who has glimpsed bright scenes through Gaps in a 'cloud' which is Divine Life and Eternity. We cannot 'see' the whole picture.
