Some hearts are so cluttered with vain desires that Christ's praise cannot stream up to the Father from their souls.

If our souls are cluttered with sin and resentment when we receive Holy Communion there is little room for Christ
Christ was curled up, as it were, in a corner of this person's soul, unable to help them because of the clutter of their preoccupations.
If we look towards Christ with our hearts and minds uncluttered, we can forget ourselves in the joy of knowing Him. We can lean on His Heart and wait for deliverance, full of His joy and peace.

A workman leans on his shovel amidst the mess and clutter of a building-site, not yet seeing the reason for all His labour: so it is with us as we persevere in faith!
Christ awaits us at the tabernacle, as if at the 'Doorway' to Heaven. If we make efforts to abandon our bad habits and weaknesses, by His grace, it's as if we push aside some of the clutter which might have hindered us on our journey to Glory.

Priestly celibacy enables a man to move towards Heaven on an uncluttered highway, without distractions. To arrive in God's presence, at death, without having given up one's sins, is like appearing in filthy garments, with muddy footprints, and with doors open wide into the areas of one's life which are full of sins, foolish thoughts and other clutter, not yet cleared away. It is to be deeply ashamed, and not fit for Heaven.
