By our smallest act of repentance and humility, God causes our understanding to be enlarged, like a growing circle of light.
The Holy Spirit pierces the veil at the Holy Mass, and reveals to us the mystery of Christ's sufferings.

Christians treasure the 'Old Testament' and the 'New Testament'. The Sacred Scriptures are revered as being the Word of God, transmitted to us by writers who were inspired by God. The Church treasures these Scriptures.
God our Father delights in giving us joy. He gives us Christ, through whom He is revealed.
