To offer Christ's Sacrifice to the Father is like offering a treasure box, which is made more beautiful by the 'diamonds' on it, which are our repented and forgiven sins.

Christ, in His earthly life, offered the Sacrifice to end all sacrifices, though He deserved nothing but love, honour and glory. He allowed sinners to humiliate and kill Him, in order to show the depth of Divine Love. We, at Mass, can offer that once-for-all Sacrifice in reparation for our own sins.
The Son of God was willing to descend from heaven, to die amongst sinners, to save us. His Father in Heaven prepared an earthly Mother for Jesus, to give him consolation in His exile; meanwhile, the Father could 'see' all the future saints who would come to him, through Jesus.
Time and space seem to vanish at the Mass, after the consecration. We are present to the once-for-all Sacrifice offered on our altar in a sacramental manner. We pray with and through Christ to our Heavenly Father, as if at the foot of the cross, with Mary, our Mother.
In a picture of the Court of Heaven, where God the Father reigns in glory, Our Blessed Lady is placed on the steps which lead to the Father's throne. There, she is honoured, as Christ offers His Eternal Sacrifice to the Father, in the Spirit, and also honours the Saints.
The Godhead is so holy and ineffable and glorious. The glory of the Godhead is like shards of glass or ice: piercing, powerful, and even painful for those unaccustomed to the light; and we can only enter it with and through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Mediator.

We are right to unite ourselves with Christ's self-offering in the Mass, but we give God the Father further glory if we pause in private prayer, throughout the day, to renew our self-offering. In that way we honour God and draw grace upon ourselves and the Church, and we can be certain that Christ is with us at every step of the way.

Truly, God has revealed what He is 'like': so loving and humble that He was willing to let His creatures mock and kill Him, rather than abandon His mission to save us from sin. And now, we can be present at Mass, where that same loving Saviour offers His Eternal Sacrifice.
Some of our attempts to attract young people to Mass are unnecessary or even foolish. It is the living memorial of the Sacrifice of Christ; and if they believe and appreciate this they will long to be there.
Christ spoke at the Consecration of the wine, saying "I shed My Blood for them". He was speaking of the people in the Church who distrust His message and lead others astray, and show little appreciation of what Christ has done for us by His Death and Resurrection. They rarely mention these holy Mysteries.
Christ is concerned for everyone and everything on our planet as He intercedes for us and offers His Holy Sacrifice.
