As we pray to the 'Sacred Heart of Jesus', His gentle Heart longs to help us in our troubles and to assist our friends.

During the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, Christ pleads with the Father, amidst His people of earth and Heaven.

Christ stands at the altar, pleading on our behalf, His arms wide open, pleading for His people, for the living and departed, and offering our prayers as His own.

It's as though, when we intercede for someone in need, Christ lets down a rope from Heaven, to draw a willing soul up high.

The Father is reaching out all the time, through Jesus, to 'gather in' and give salvation to people all over the world. Yet not many listen to Jesus and to the teaching of His Church.

God sees every good effort of human beings to serve Him. Sincere people in many religions reach out towards Heaven, to praise their Creator, however they picture Him, and in the hope of contact with Him. Yet the Catholic Faith is different from other religions in that, at every Mass, Heaven is laid open above us. Christ's power and Christ's intercession allow us to reach the Father, in the Spirit, through baptism and faith and the Sacrifice of the Mass.

Christ our risen Lord was Present above the altar, as if ascending from the tomb, His hands uplifted to the Father, interceding for us who believe in Him, our High Priest.

Ever since the time when Christ offered His life for sinners, on Calvary, and prayed for us to be forgiven, that same Sacrifice and sacrificial prayer have been offered by Christ for sinners: in a sacramental manner, all over the world, century by century, at every celebration of the Mass.

At every Mass, Jesus Christ is made Present before us, our great High Priest Who intercedes for us with His Father in Heaven. The holy Angels look on and adore Him.

Christ spoke to me about all the people in my heart in need of help, and all my other concerns. He said, "BRING THEM ALL TO ME", and assured me that He can 'deal' with all our problems and petitions.

Christ is concerned for everyone and everything on our planet as He intercedes for us and offers His Holy Sacrifice.

The Father hears the prayers we offer in Jesus' name. Jesus is living to intercede for us, and does so not just in Heaven, but also here upon earth in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Jesus would be the first to help a friend in need. Likewise, He urged me not to worry about leaving my prayer in order to deal with a little mishap. Friends understand one another.

Just as I scan my desk each day to attend first to the most urgent project, so, Christ said, He and His Mother Mary scan the earth, to see who most urgently needs her prayers and His graces - or even, from time to time (amidst particular difficulties of a nation or the Church) who needs a visit from Our Lady.
