It is the Holy Spirit Who pours peace within the souls of Christ's friends, and even allows such souls to share that peace, even at a distance, through their communion with one another 'in Christ'. They can encourage one another to more fervent prayer - as when happy dolphins nudge one another, to encourage joyful leaps into the sunlight above the surface of the water.

Christ unites his friends on earth in the 'Communion of Saints'. Every prayer offered through Christ touches or helps other souls.

When two people pray in the name of Christ, even if separated by distance, they are united in the communion of saints

I saw a child who unwrapped a precious object. I must 'unwrap' the Mass for other people, to reveal the 'heart' of it. It is a living memorial of Calvary's offering: the very same sacrifice, now sacramentally re-presented.

In His unchanging Will, God is like the perpetual and steady descent of a vast forest waterfall. Just as the water cannot suddenly flow upwards or sideways, so God never changes in His desire to offer us true life, true freedom, forgiveness and holiness, if we will accept them.

Those who oppose the legitimate teaching authority of the Church and develop a habit of defiance are, perhaps without realising it, defying Christ Himself

Christ loves to bring His friends refreshment and new courage through His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. Whoever adores Christ before the tabernacle or monstrance, or receives Holy Communion, can be sure that, standing very close to Christ, are His Holy Mother and all the Saints too.

Whoever praises the Father in Christ's name, in the Spirit, is united with Christ and with all the saints who worship in Heaven.

When a soul is almost 'full' of God's grace (like a flooded room) everything and everyone in that person's life is therefore 'touched' by God, as well as that person who opened the 'door'.

Where spiritual friends are open-hearted, and one receives Christ in Holy Communion, Christ's glory is so great that it blazes forth and even touches and 'scorches' the other friend.
