Do you live in an 'ordinary street', in an ordinary town? Whether we come from poor and humble backgrounds, or rich families, from terraced houses or mud huts or palaces, we are all called to be Saints. We can achieve this by loving Jesus Christ and doing His Will. The Church tells us what is His Will; and she gives us all we need to be obedient and faithful.

Christ is true God, as well as true man. The bright cloud represented the Godhead, and Heaven; and as it split open, Christ emerged, willing to descend to earth to live as a sinless man in a sinful world, to save us from Hell. The Angels looked on in awe and wonder, seeing His love for us all.

Christ is God-made-man. He came down from Heaven, at a particular place, and at a particular time in human history, to teach us the truth about human life and its purpose, and to show us the Way to Heaven.

We must not become disheartened if we struggle to be dutiful and kind towards our relations or companions. In His own earthly life-time, Christ had to be patient with people whose ideas repelled Him, or whose good hearts He admired but whose lack of understanding was hard to bear.

Jesus is the 'Lamb of God' we adore at Mass. Jesus, Who sacrificed Himself to save us from our sins, was once a flesh and blood baby, like those being sacrificed today by abortion, often on the 'altar' of convenience and self-love, though some young women act in terror or ignorance.

People who are both reverent and well-instructed demonstrate their reverence for Jesus Christ, Present in the tabernacle. They bend the knee before Him in a reverent genuflection, on entering or leaving their place in a church, and when passing by the tabernacle.

It is true that Jesus healed everyone. But we cannot accuse sick people who fail to improve, after prayer, of having little faith. The Lord permits some people to bear sufferings so that - just like Him, on the Cross - they might do penance for the sins of other people. Others are allowed, by the Lord, a time in which to reflect on their lives and to amend their sinful ways. Others, by patience in sickness, set a good example.

Some clergymen try to forget that Christ said many 'hard sayings' about sin, Hell, judgement, and faithfulness to the Church; these are things often ignored or contradicted today, by those Catholic Bishops who are more keen to please their colleagues or their flocks than their Saviour.

If I turn to the Father, through Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit, I can be confident that I am sharing the life of the Blessed Trinity: a life of joy, radiance, peace and security which are gifts from God.

The truth which we have learned from Christ and His Apostles is still true, is still taught by the Catholic Church, which Christ founded, and is still meant to be told to everyone in the world who is willing to listen: that God loves us so much He has come down from Heaven, and that Jesus, God-made-man, is the only Saviour.

Jesus once said that, "The measure you give will be the measure you get". If we want Him to act towards us with a merciful and gentle judgement, we must act with mercy and gentleness towards those who displease or annoy us.

In asking me to paint a Last Judgement, the Lord intends (He explained) to sum up for everyone the entire message which He has been giving me during over twenty years of teachings-in-prayer: the message that we are each on our way to Heaven or to Hell, which is why Jesus said: 'Repent and believe the Good News' about His love for us, and our hope of salvation.

Whenever a person offers up, in union with Christ in His Passion, some painful or distressing experience or state or event, in patience, to help sinners, someone in spiritual danger is saved from falling into Hell. The prayers we offer in Jesus' name are powerful, especially when we do penance for those who refuse to do so.

Once Christ had become a man, we learned how precious is humanity to God. We are all brothers and sisters to Christ and to one another; and each of us should treat others with respect, as Christ treated people in His earthly life-time.

Christ came down from Heaven to earth, as if through many miles of mist and obscurity, until He was born of Mary, in an obscure little stable, with only His Mother and St. Joseph to protect Him. Jesus is only 'found' today by people who approach Him in simplicity and humility.

The little child who was born of Mary is the Divine Saviour Who is worthy of all the glory we can offer Him today in our churches. In crossing the threshold we are in a sacred space, consecrated for the praise of the Blessed Trinity. What God always wants to see in our hearts is the simplicity and humility which were in the heart of the infant Jesus.

Christ wants each of us to trust Him with the degree of trust which He Himself showed out when He lay, as a little child, in His Mother's arms.

A faithful person who believes in God's promises, prays in Christ's name, and is confident that her prayers will be granted because she is Christ's friend. It is as though she approaches a great king - the Father - sure that Christ the Prince is beside her in the throne room, saying to His Father: "Please grant her requests".

Jesus Christ was aware of His own Origin and Divine nature throughout His whole life on earth. Though He took a human nature to Himself and lived as a little boy in our world, He did not have to be told His purpose in life. About all these things, He had Divine knowledge and implicit human knowledge, as a boy, though He had to learn how to put it into words.
