At the Easter Vigil, Christ leaned over my chair, showing how delighted He was to be with me, and at my desire to please Him, to live at peace with everyone, and to make Him widely known and loved.

When the praise of the Church on earth, with and through Christ its Head, rises up to Heaven, it's as if Heaven is startled and delighted - so powerful and glorious is that praise. It 'explodes', as when the light from thousands of fireworks explodes during a national celebration.

Christ loves to welcome His friends in Holy Communion. He especially delights in giving consolation and peace to those who are weary in His service, or enduring extraordinary trials for love of Him.

It is good that we delight in beautiful things and thank God for them.

As we enter the church, Christ greets us from the tabernacle. He delights especially when we love and honour His Mother on her feast days.

Our Father in Heaven looks with delight upon everyone who speaks with others about His Son, Jesus, and Jesus' Holy Mother Mary. We are right to share our faith with joy, glorifying God and helping other people.
