In choosing to destroy those infants in the womb they have wiped out the adults they would have become: mothers, fathers, priests, nuns, pianists, politicians, drivers, and others - all created by God; but each has been denied by their parents an earthly life to treasure and enjoy.

Even in the coldest, bleakest surroundings, no-one on earth, not even the poorest peasant in the most dingy hovel (Christ explained) has the right to end his own life or to ask someone to do it for him. If we accepted the power of God into our lives, the love given through Christ, we would look after one another.

The sins and self-love shown in our world cover our world like an all-enveloping cloud. Wherever someone acts in pure charity, it's as if a gap is made in the cloud; and God's light can shine upon earth in a difficult situation, for needy people.

Christ said to me, about the Tridentine Mass: "It is My wish that the Ancient Rite be restored, and thus help restore reverence all over the earth".

Christ pointed out the truth that, by my decision to enter into full Communion as a Catholic, I risked pain and persecution, for love of Him - just like many of His followers in His earthly life-time, and every era.

An astronaut who looks back towards the earth he has left can see things in their correct perspective, seeing what was important for the flight and what caused needless worry. We ought to examine our lives, to see what is essential, as we prepare for eternal life, and what is distracting or even dangerous.

Christ told me that it was true He had not the pleasure of hot baths, such as ours today; yet He had lakes and rivers for refreshment - and, for much of the time, warm weather. In every time of Earth's history, there have been good things to enjoy.

In descending to earth as man, the Son of God came to share His Divine power, life, wisdom and joy. He showers with extraordinary gifts all who follow His instructions and, for love of Him, follow His Way.

We can say that Jesus the God-man came to earth to found the Church. In and through the Church we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit; we receive the Divine life and power Christ brought to earth at His Incarnation, and the Divine Food (the Holy Eucharist).

Through the Church we have everything we need to live as children of God in a sinful world. We even have praise to offer to God our Father which is worthy of Him: praise which is offered by Jesus Christ, Sacramentally Present in our midst, at Mass.

The Father sees everything that happens to us, as we live and work in the 'darkness' of earthly life, as if in a deep cavern, far below Heaven's glory. Yet when we overcome our sins and persevere in difficulties, and share our faith in God, we give joy to God's heart.

The Lord showed me a series of posters which represented the many subjects studied in Catholic schools. If the children don't learn spiritual truths, however, they will be lost. They need to know about God's love for them, and their unique worth; and also about the importance of prayer, the sacraments, holy living, the Mass, and perseverance in grace until death.

The Holy Souls in Purgatory undergo an interior cleansing and transformation, as they realise how much time they wasted in earthly life, when they might have shown greater love towards God and their neighbours, in humility and obedience.

Jesus would be the first to help a friend in need. Likewise, He urged me not to worry about leaving my prayer in order to deal with a little mishap. Friends understand one another.

All the Saints were smiling, sharing their joy with one another, because the Church on earth was praising God the Father, through Christ, in the Spirit, as the congregation said the great 'Amen' at Mass.

The food God makes available to us should be seen as fuel for our journey on earth. We should have neither too much nor too little; and if it is of the wrong sort we shall damage our bodies as surely as a car is harmed when the wrong liquid is poured into the petrol-pipe.

We who are members of the Church are on a 'journey' of pilgrimage together, from earth to Heaven. It is sometimes necessary to make comments or suggestions on the state of the vehicles used, or the management and care of the needy, but not to berate individual clergymen.

It is possible to bear constant heartache 'side-by-side' with spiritual joy, as Jesus Himself experienced in earthly life. His heart ached whenever people showed misunderstanding or malice towards Him, yet He remained in blissful union with the Father.

Christ greeted me with His arms open wide in a loving gesture, showing His delight, on my child's birthday, that I have welcomed every child I have conceived, and have been grateful for God's gift of help.
