Christ our God Who reigns in Eternal Glory, is Really Present in the Blessed Sacrament in church, and in the homes of the sick who receive Holy Communion. It is fitting that an 'altar' is prepared, with candles and a clean cloth and a crucifix, where the pyx may be placed.

It is essential that we love God, and love our neighbour. There really will be a Last Judgement, when those who have put their trust in Christ are rewarded and those who were disobedient and rebellious will be sent away to Hell. By our freely-made choices in everyday life we are each moving towards the heights of glory or towards the torments of the damned.

When we pray to God, in Jesus' name, for help for someone in need, we can be sure that God sends down grace from Heaven, like a stream of glory, to enfold that person in need, to enlighten his mind and strengthen his will to do good - if he will respond and turn to God.

Like Elijah we are called to seek the presence of God, and be awestruck before His power and majesty and beauty

The Lord showed me that Heaven is like a circular area full of Divine glory, occupied by the Three Divine Persons and the Angels and Saints. Christ and His holy Mother want to greet new arrivals, which is why each of us needs to ask himself: "Am I ready to enter?"

Each of us should reflect, from time to time: "Am I ready to enter the Glory of Heaven?"

Christ and his Mother, with all the Saints and Angels, live in the glory of Heaven. If we are called 'home', are we ready to enter? Are we holy, pure, and at peace with God and our neighbor?

At the Consecration at Mass, at Blackfriars in Oxford, I saw Christ standing behind the altar, with the Dominican priests who were concelebrating. His glory shone all around, as I praised Him for His Real Presence and His love.

We are right to unite ourselves with Christ's self-offering in the Mass, but we give God the Father further glory if we pause in private prayer, throughout the day, to renew our self-offering. In that way we honour God and draw grace upon ourselves and the Church, and we can be certain that Christ is with us at every step of the way.

Christ is Really Present at the Consecration, here before us in glory: the same Divine glory which He had revealed to His special friends at the Transfiguration, on the mountain, in His earthly lifetime.

The Lord gave me a glimpse of our beautiful village, which He has allowed me to enjoy amidst many years of pain. Then He showed me an even greater beauty on high, 'above' the village. I saw Heaven's glory, and all the Saints who live in God, in joy.

It is the Lord's wish that our Bishops teach and reinforce the 'basics' of the Catholic life, which include regular and reverent Liturgical and private prayer, care of family and the needy, celebration of feasts and fasts, love for the Church, for the glory of the Holy Trinity, following Jesus.

As soon as I had received Christ in Holy Communion, I was shown by Christ that He stood within my soul, so to speak, praising and adoring God the Father above, just as I had been doing throughout the day, as I prayed, and offered up my sufferings, for God's glory, and to help the Church.

Christ explained the marvel of Baptism, by which the Three Divine Persons come to dwell in glory within the newly-baptised soul who can now have sure, intimate access to God, in his own soul, without his having to travel, as in earlier times, to the Temple.

Before the time of Christ, people had to go to the Temple at Jerusalem to be where God had come down in a special way. But Jesus, by His saving work, and the gift of Baptism, has made possible the entry of God, and the indwelling of God, in His glory, in the soul of the one who has freely accepted Christ and the sacrament.

Though we must pray and work to help the needy all over the world, we must keep our thoughts also on Heaven, lest we become despondent, forgetting the glory and joy that await God's friends. Yet we must think, too, about our preparation. Only the pure and holy are ready to enter.

Christ our God is Really Present with us, in His glory, at the Consecration, aflame with holiness. He asks: can we not adore Him, as the Angels do, instead of showing irreverence by our chatter and our careless gestures and lukewarm prayers?

Christ sees, as if it is laid out like a picture before Him, the whole of humanity, from the first man, to the moment of fulfilment at the Parousia, when Christ will come in glory. He sees, all at once, the entire life of every person who has ever lived or will ever live.

When we pray in the name of Jesus to our Heavenly Father it is as though the 'door' to Heaven opens. The Father hears us; and the light of the glory of Heaven shines upon us.

I saw a soul rising up from Purgatory like a man waking from a bad dream, who then gazed around him in wonder. On seeing Heaven's glory, he was amazed at its beauty, and full of joy that, in his purified state, he was about to enter.
