Christ spoke to me from the sanctuary, where He was Present in the tabernacle. He showed His delight in the forthcoming news about greater reverence in the Sacred Liturgy; and He turned towards His Father in Heaven, to Whom greater glory will be given by the changes.

We are right to honour Mary, the Blessed Virgin, through whom the Father gave us His Son, and all the graces we receive in the Church, especially in the Holy Eucharist. We would be right to surmount a 'Mary-style' tabernacle with an image of Christ in glory.

The Father sees everything that happens to us, as we live and work in the 'darkness' of earthly life, as if in a deep cavern, far below Heaven's glory. Yet when we overcome our sins and persevere in difficulties, and share our faith in God, we give joy to God's heart.

Christ our God is Sacramentally Present in all His glory in the tabernacle. We do not usually see His glory; but everyone who believes must surely genuflect before the Lord, and show reverence and devotion, not treating the 'house of God' like a market-place.

The generous response of the Blessed Virgin to God's invitation to become the Mother of God brought her much suffering - but also tremendous joy and glory. And so it is with us, when we respond to God's call, and allow Him to lead us through trials to bliss and intimacy.

Within the Father's heart, in Heaven, burns a blazing light. This is the glory of the Father, and within it is a furnace of Divine Love. That very love should burn within the heart of every Christian who professes to work for God. If a burning charity is lacking, someone's work cannot succeed. It will be based on human ambition and only human strength.

He descended from the heights of glory in Heaven, not just to Earth, but to the bottom of the dungeon in which He huddled, bleeding and deserted, during His Passion.

Can we imagine that the Blessed Virgin Mary did not know when her son had risen from the dead? She knew, at the moment of His rising, as she experienced in her own heart His bliss and glory. She cried out in joy - and later on was overwhelmed with joy when He visited her before anyone else.

Those Holy Souls who have been helped by our prayers, and who are ready for Heaven, are like people who have been hauled up a great cliff, to arrive in joy and gratitude at the top, from which they can see Heaven's glory nearby.

The glory of Heaven, which seems to be like a glorious sun, seen from earthly life, stretches upwards into infinite heights, coiled upon itself; and the happy Saints within those vast interiors are astonished by the vistas spread out before them in eternal newness and beauty, with nothing tedious or stale.

All the souls in Purgatory join in our prayers, as we praise the Father, through Christ, in the Spirit, at Mass. Yet each one longs for the day when he will not only praise God but will also see Him, from amongst the Saints, who also pray with us and who enjoy the glory of God, and His beauty.

Our Blessed Lady's whole desire is to give glory to her Father, just as Jesus Christ her Son has always done. She invites us to do the same, though she is saddened to see how little respect is paid to Christ their Divine Saviour, Really Present in the Mass, and in the tabernacle.
