It is as though Christ is so generous that He's like a vessel of precious ointment. A 'drop' of grace can effect change in us.
It pleased Jesus to bring His Mother Mary to be with Him in the Lady Chapel, and to show me what I believe: that they are real people who love me and are touched by my humble and grateful prayers.

Good parents offer warnings about the dangers their children must avoid if they wish to remain safe and at peace. Likewise, out of love for us, Christ has issued warnings - today through His Church - about sins to avoid, and the disastrous consequences of rebellion.
God the Father loves us as His children with a tender and unfailing love

Christ sees our behaviour in church - some bad behaviour due to ignorance, some due to carelessness or lack of love for Him. He does not take offense. He loves us all dearly. Yet when He sees how some people treat His house of prayer, and His Presence, it's as if He is on the Cross, being struck by His enemies.
God the Father loves us as His children with a tender and unfailing love
God loves, as His Creation, the whole of the natural world: bright oceans teaming with life, with whales' waterspouts, and waves glinting in the sunlight, as shoals of fish circle underwater. Flocks of birds soar through the bright sky in the sweet, breezy air, and His glory shines over all. God delights in our love for Him even more than He delights in His Creation.
God the Father loves each one of us with a passionate love, and holds us in His tender embrace

Only in Heaven can God finally demonstrates the fullness of His love for us. If He did this in earthly life, we would die of joy - though He does give extraordinary gifts and joys to those who love Him, in contemplation. So, too, a loving grandfather on earth cannot hug the new child with too much affection, or he would hurt him. He much restrain himself, and show love through his care.
Christ's love for us is so great that he waits until we meet in Heaven to express it fully. Until then, His touch is restrained, as when a doting grandfather reaches out gently to an infant.
God the Father hides his delight in us, lest He frighten us by the intensity of His joy and affection.
"I am Holding You in My Love". God the Father showed me that wherever I am - even in Hospital - I am in His care.
Christ's love for the Father, in its fiery delight, soars from the altar in our church, to the infinite heights of Heaven.
God who made us holds us in His 'heart', as He holds all creation in existence, through His infinite love.
