Christ gazed upon me with immense love and tenderness, as I expressed my contrition and love.

As if from the 'door' of Heaven, God's graces pour outwards, down the stairway, upon us needy persons below. He graces are like torrents of living flame; it is into the 'Fire' of His love that each of us must step, when we die. The sinless feel no pain, only joy.

Christ stands by us in Holy Communion, wrapping us in His cloak, as a man cloaks a friend in a storm, to hold His friend close and to give him protection, warmth and consolation.

If we are sick and call to Christ, He comes to sit by our side, bringing us comfort by His Presence. No words are necessary. His love is enough.

Sometimes, when we are tired, Christ calls us to rest, and 'helps us' to find that rest in our lives.

We should never doubt the love of Christ. He forgives all our sins and failings if we turn to him with trust and contrition.
