Jesus is not upset by our day-dreams or distractions. He waits patiently for our homage and companionship.

One day in Communion, He adorned my soul with flowers.

As I kneel in prayer, in all my weakness, like a beggar in rags before Christ: He loves me! He loves me with warmth and affection!

Christ poured out His life-blood for us, on Calvary. It is the blood of the living, Risen Saviour that refreshs us, and increases the Divine life in us, in Holy Communion. Truly, we should revere in our hearts, all day long, the One Whose generosity towards us is infinitely great.

Jesus waits with infinite patience and kindness, when I have decided to pray, but find that I am distracted by thoughts of the work I've been doing.

Words cannot describe the marvel of God's love for us, His children - brothers and sisters together before Him. We should feel confident at every Mass because Christ is amongst us praying for us.
