At Mass, even amidst shouts and noise and irreverence, nothing can detract from the majesty and dignity of the tremendous Sacrifice of Christ, offered to the Father, in the Holy Spirit.

Christ appeared as a King, and permitted me to sit at His feet as a penitent. He showed me my own nothingness, and His power and majesty.

The all-holy and majestic God Whom we praise at Mass, through Christ His Son, is present here. This huge Cathedral, and everyone in it, rests in God's care. Were we to see Him, we would see a blazing fire reaching out powerfully through the entire building: a burning fire of pure love.

Like Elijah we are called to seek the presence of God, and be awestruck before His power and majesty and beauty

Christ was Present in glory, at the Consecration, radiant with Divine majesty, revealing Himself as True God, made man, Who in His humility was willing to accept persecution and death.
