Christ Himself, in His humility, stoops to help us, again and again; correcting our mistakes - our 'rubbish'.
We find the greatest joy in meeting Christ at the tabernacle when we have removed the rubbish - our failings - that clutter our path to Heaven.
Living human beings are a gift from God. The Holy Spirit gives life; and it is He Who receives insult and offense wherever people treat human embryos as so much rubbish to be thrown away.
Those who destroy infants in their mothers' wombs, or who discard tiny embryos, are not only acting against those living human beings, but offending God. They act against Him, the giver of life, when they discard miniature living persons as so much rubbish, even if they do not realise how great is the wrong they do.

Christ, Who gives the gift of life, is horrified that tiny human beings, who should be treasured, are poisoned or dismembered in their mothers' wombs through abortion, and thrown or flushed away like so much garbage.

Tiny human beings are sometimes aborted at sea, on a ship with an operating theatre where women can go to avoid opposition. It is terrible, in God's sight, that tiny infants are discarded with no more sadness than that shown for the many fish which are thrown overboard, elsewhere, by fishermen who have used up their quotas.
A sinful soul, damaged by a seriously sinful way of life, is like a bombed-out shop in a war-zone. Rubbish is strewn all over the street, from the blast: and no trading can take place until the premises have been cleaned, mended, painted, furnished and re-stocked. As kind people can make a place habitable, so the prayers of our Blessed Lady are powerfully effective in restoring souls to their earlier beauty.
The Lord pictured the contents of a sacristy, and asked: How would a priest feel, were treasured possessions to be ripped from the sacristy: photos of his silver jubilee Mass, his mother's crucifix, his favourite statue of Our Lady, his ordination photos, and special gifts? Why should his parishioners be expected to look on, calmly, as their favourite 'mementos', of statues and pictures, are condemned as so much rubbish?
The Lord has shown how wonderful it is, in His sight, when the gift of life is accepted, and when a woman gladly welcomes her child. It is a terrible thing, when a woman decides to allow someone to remove the child from her womb and so to destroy it, leaving its remains on one side like garbage.

It is not the Will of God that babies are created outside the mother's body by scientific manipulation of human material - nor that tiny human beings thus created be thrown away as so many 'surplus' or imperfect persons, like rubbish.
Whole societies allow the barbaric practice of abortion to continue, because it is hidden from sight, in clinics and hospitals; and the millions of tiny infants who are cruelly destroyed disappear, as swiftly as a tide of rubbish in a gutter when a storm causes all the debris to be swept away.
There is a smiling face put on the 'treatment' of women wanting abortions. Yet the results are the same, day after day and year after year. There are dead bodies to be disposed of: tiny bodies, but the real mortal remains of thousands of tiny babies, ripped from the womb before birth, unwanted.
The results of abortion are horrible. It's as if the little babies have been treated as a river of waste, a repulsive effluence which is unwanted or inconvenient, whereas the truth is that each tiny human being has been given the gift of life: a life unique, and precious in God's sight. A mother or father can repent and be forgiven, but for the babies there is no remedy.
Unwanted babies who are conceived in drunken one-night stands are often dragged from the womb and thrown away as if in a rubbish bin
If we examine the amount of rubbish which our society throws away daily, we are not surprised any longer by the rubbish by the roadside, the boxes of plastic, or the mountains of newspaper; but we should be surprised that in England about 550 little babies are thrown away every day, killed in abortion clinics.
Human life is a precious gift from God, and unborn children are not objects to be thrown away like rubbish
