Through a soul's self-giving, God acts for good through that soul, pouring out His grace and blessings.
God the Father is calling everyone to turn to Him; yet the gloomy interiors of sinful souls resemble a dark room in a catacomb: people who refuse to repent, who refuse to confess their sins, and who do no penance. Their souls are dead, even in this life; and if they die in their sins they will never see God. We should try to share the truth about spiritual danger, and the life of grace held out to us.
The soul whose will is conformed to God's, is folded-up into God's love: led by Christ, directed by the Spirit, going to the Father; Three Persons giving One Flame

The impatient soul (Christ showed me) builds a high tower, straining for light, instead of steadily following the low, narrow road.
I saw the soul 'expanding', the heart lifted high, above local and personal concerns, to embrace, also, a great number of other persons.

Christ brought my soul to a mountain-top and to His Holy Company; how many compromises and failings (I learned) had lengthened my journey.
How marvellously does the prayer of our Blessed Lady send down a shining stream of grace, as a soothing balm, upon a waiting soul in Purgatory.
When we ask Our Lady to pray for the souls of Purgatory, she does so, and God's purifying grace is poured upon them like a soothing balm
A soul may greet Christ, in Holy Communion, by saying: "Cast your light within, and enter (with your outpouring of grace)".
Once, a departed soul was clinging to the top of a fiery pit; only the prayers of devout persons (like spears flung beneath him) saved him from falling into Hell.
Once, Christ swiftly embraced a departed soul after its purification, lifting it - like a newborn baby just delivered - high towards Heaven.
By Baptism, the soul becomes a furnace of Divine Love, as the Indwelling Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - shines out Glory from that soul upon others. It's as if the entire person is irradiated with light, all sin banished. This is a 'child of God', whatever age this person is; adopted by God and ready for Heaven.
A departed soul (a good person) emerged from a thin cocoon of self-love, and was all the while speeding towards Heaven's glory.
